Resolved Question: What kind of dog is best...?

I want to get my first dog all to myself. I have just moved to a new city and I'm all alone. I want a dog that is loving, loyal, smart, small, easier to maintain, longer life span, easy to train... things like that. I want to get a dog thats a baby and raise him/her from the start.
